从激光脉冲空问特性入手，提出Ｍ值对精密激光加工的影响。理论分析和试验表明，对一般金属材料而言，Ｍ＞７对提高加工精度是有利的。
Starting from the characteristics of laser pulse spatial characteristics, the effect of M value on precision laser processing is proposed. Theoretical analysis and experiments show that, for the general metal materials, M> 7 to improve the processing accuracy is beneficial.
