由福建教育出版社出版的《马芯兰小学数学教学改革尝试》计四分册于九月起陆续出书,各地新华书店发行。本书作者——马芯兰对小学数学教学进行了十分成功的改革,曾用四年的教学时间,并不加重学生的学习负担,而使学生的数学学习质量达到六年制毕业的水平,她的探索在全国各地已引起了广泛的反响,得到中央领导同志和有关部门的重视和肯定。国家教委副主任何东昌同志还为本书 The four volumes of the “Attempt at Ma Xinlan Primary School Mathematics Teaching Reform” published by Fujian Education Press were published in September and distributed throughout Xinhua Bookstore. The author of this book, Ma Zhenlan, had a very successful reform of primary mathematics teaching.
