V Group, one of the world’s largest apparel manufacturers, reported in a recent report that its second-quarter net profit rose 20% YoY, surpassing the market expectation due to the drop in raw material costs and the strong demand of outdoor and sportswear brands. The group also raised its full-year profit forecast. Data show that VF Group second-quarter net profit increased from 129 million U.S. dollars to 155 million U.S. dollars. Excluding Timberland-related expenses expected last year, the group posted a net profit of 1.1 U.S. dollars, up from an expected 94 cents. Revenues rose 16% to $ 2.12 billion, including
