The reserve system of the 19th century was born in Europe. Russia, which runs across Eurasia, has also followed the pace of the times and formed its own reserve force. With the change of dynasties, social changes and the contingents of Russian reserve forces, which have undergone constant trials and hardships, the system of development has now enjoyed a relatively complete system and marked a deep imprint of the times. Waiting for Mobilization During Training Currently, there are no reservists in the reserve system in the Russian Federation, but there are about 5.5 million to 6 million people, which is three to four times the number of active service personnel. Its members mainly include those who have exited active service, those trained under reserve training officers’ training programs at local institutions of higher learning, those who have not served in military service due to retrenchment.
