Comrade Zhao Ningfu, a famous numismatic researcher, died at 3:36 on November 2, 2011 at 3:36 due to the invalid medical treatment. Comrade Zhao Ningfu served as director of the Chinese Numismatic Institute, Academic Committee, executive director of Henan Province Numismatic Institute, former chief economist of the People’s Bank of China branch in Henan Province. Before his death, Comrade Zhao Ningfu diligently presided over the compilation of the Dictionary of Chinese Coins. He was the deputy editor-in-chief and consultant of the Editorial Committee of the Chinese People’s Archeology and the chief editor of the Republic of China.
