“符号场”是洛特曼晚期文化符号学理论的核心概念。实际上它是文化场的同义词。“符号场”相当于一座桥梁,将符号学思维方式与文化对象连接起来,在某种程度上可以预告文化研究的符号学转向。比较文学必然牵涉到两个以上民族间两种以上的不同文化之间的比较。在跨文明比较文学阶段,文化其实成了比较文学最后的根本。符号场具有边界性和对话机制,这就为比较文学异质学研究和跨文明对话提供了理论根据。
“Symbol Field ” is the core concept of Lotman’s late cultural semiotics theory. In fact it is synonymous with cultural field. “Symbol field ” is equivalent to a bridge connecting the semiotic ways of thinking with cultural objects, to a certain extent, the semiotic researches on cultural studies can be forecasted. Comparative literature necessarily involves a comparison of two or more different cultures among two or more ethnic groups. In the stage of cross-civilization comparative literature, culture actually became the ultimate foundation of comparative literature. The symbolic field has the borderline and dialogue mechanism, which provides a theoretical basis for comparative literary heterogeneity and intercultural dialogue.
