日本的水田面积约4500万亩。对其主要的水田地带,即便作粗略的考察,也决非易事。本人30年来先后进行过10次考察(每次约一周),才考察了石狩、空知、上川等北海道的主要稻作地带,了解其稻作技术。而中国的稻作面积约5亿亩,较之北海道乃至全日本,是无可比拟地广大。想要论述中国的稻作技术,于我显然无能为力。除阅读文献外,我在中国仅有三次计70天左右的实地见闻。现以在中国的福建省和北京等地的亲身考察为主,将觉察到的中国稻作技术的三个问题简述于下。
Japan’s paddy field area of about 4500000 acres. For its main paddy fields, even a cursory survey is no easy task. I have conducted 10 inspections over the past 30 years (about one week each time) before I inspected the major rice fields of Ishikari, Sakae, Kamigawa and other Hokkaido and learned about their rice cultivation techniques. However, China’s paddy area is about 500 million mu, which is unmatched by comparison with Hokkaido and even Japan. I want to talk about China’s rice technology, in my apparent powerlessness. In addition to reading the literature, I have only heard in the field for about 70 days in China three times. Now in China’s Fujian Province and Beijing and other places of personal investigation based, will be aware of China’s rice technology three issues outlined below.
