1949年新中国建立后的钱君匋在艺坛异常活跃。他在音乐书籍装帧篆刻等领域四面出击,尤其是篆刻家的身份特别耀眼。篆刻收藏方面,钱君匋20世纪五六十年代得机缘,收藏了大宗吴昌硕、赵之谦、黄牧甫篆刻原石。1960年代初应香港《大公报》之约,钱君匋和篆刻家叶潞渊合作撰写有关金石篆刻的随笔,宣传推广篆刻艺术,后来他和叶潞渊合作的这批文章,以《中国玺印源流》为名出版成书。在辑谱方面,1960年和1962年分别完成二部手
After the founding of New China in 1949, Qian Junli was unusually active in the art world.
