Objective To detect the levels of vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) and sFlt-1 (VEGF) in serum and placenta of patients with early-onset and late-onset severe preeclampsia ) Levels, to explore its mechanism in the pathogenesis of severe preeclampsia. Methods Twenty patients with early-onset severe preeclampsia were premature and severe, 20 patients with late-onset severe preeclampsia were late-onset severe and 20 normal late-pregnancy were normal pregnant women. Serum VEGF And sFlt-1 levels. Meanwhile, the positive rate of VEGF and sFlt-1 in placenta was detected by immunohistochemical SP method. Results Serum levels of VEGF and placental VEGF were significantly lower in premature severe cases (27.5 ± 3.6) ng / L and 15% than those in normal controls (36.2 ± 3.2) ng / L and 30%, respectively) (45.5 ± 3.7) ng / L and 45% respectively) (P <0.05), and the rate of sFlt-1 and sFlt-1 positive rate in early-onset severe group was lower than that in late-onset severe group (42.2 ± 3.2) ng / L and 60% in the severe group (30.2 ± 2.5) ng / L and 45%, respectively) were significantly higher than those in the normal pregnancy group (14.7 ± 2.7) ng / L and 10%) (P <0.05), the rate of early-onset severe group was higher than that of late-onset severe group (P <0.05). Conclusion The low expression of VEGF and the overexpression of sFlt-1 may be related to the severity of severe preeclampsia and play an important role in the development and progression of severe preeclampsia.
