听说过这样一个故事:一个登山运动员参加攀登珠穆朗玛峰的运动,当他奋力攀到6400多米的高度时,因体力不支,停了下来。他的朋友们知道后都替他惋惜。大家说,如果他能坚持一下,咬紧牙关挺住,再攀登一点高度不就上去了吗?没想到这位登山运动员却平静地说:“不,我自己最清楚,6400米的海拔是我登山运动的最高点,我一点都不遗憾。”这个故事让我想起了名作《约翰·克利斯朵夫》中主人公和他舅舅之间的一席话:“……如果你不行,如果你是弱者,如果你不成功,你还是应当快乐。干嘛你要抱更多的希望呢?
