Nonlinear optical (NLO)materials are increaingly needed along with the development ofoptoelectronic technique. In recent years there has been a growth of interest in organic materialsfor their application in the field of nonlinear optics. This is because organic double-frequencymaterials can have much higher nonlinear optical coefficients,shorter response times and higherlaser damage thresholds than inorganic materials.
