There is much controversy in academia regarding the maximum temperature of the formation of three transformation products of supercooled austenite (pearlite, bainite and martensite). The theoretical upper limit temperature of pearlite formation is Ac_1, and the actual upper limit temperature is Ar_1, which is well known. The theoretical upper limit temperature of martensite formation is M_o (T_o) and the actual upper limit temperature is M_s point, which has been widely found in literature. However, little research has been done on the theoretical upper limit temperature B_o and the actual upper limit temperature B_s for the formation of bainite. Studying B_o points and B_s points not only establishes correct bainitic transformation for determining the thermodynamic conditions of bainite formation
