在我早期有关马的题材的陶艺创作中,我常常把马与鸟组合在一起,在马与鸟之间寻找一种抽象的内在联系,并赋予它们以新的内涵。在这里,马是人格化的形象,马与鸟的组合表现的是人对自由的一种向往,是人的精神的一种物化。但后来创作的这组“复原”系列,却有着与之前的“马之梦”系列不太一样的思路。将近三十年前,我还在美院读书的时候,曾在图书馆楼二楼陶瓷系教室外一个露天凉台的墙根下看到两个没有盖子的大木
In my early ceramic work on horse themes, I often combined horses with birds to find an abstract relationship between horses and birds and give them new meaning.
