This year I studied in the local language disorder clinic in the United States for two months and witnessed the practice of the American language disorder clinic. Out of professional sensitivity, I noticed the personality traits and behavior of young children in the United States at outpatient clinics. I found some aspects worth learning from. The first strong feeling is that young children in the United States are bold in the treatment environment with little or no fear of sexual crying or the phenomenon of shyly hiding behind parents. When in speech therapy, they can quickly enter the character and devote themselves into the fun game without the need of a “warm-up” period, and they quickly establish goodwill relationship with the therapist. Throughout the process, these children have always been with the therapist, which has greatly reduced the work of the therapist and saved time.
