Conexant Systems has announced the EdgeMaker software for the CX27510Edge Stream Processor (ESP) family, offering customers the industry’s first complete network processor solution that includes multiple service application firmware. In addition, Conexant enhances VoATM (Asynchronous Transfer Mode Voice) capabilities of EdgeMaker network processor software to further improve integrated voice and data capabilities. The combination of the ESP processor and the EdgeMaker platform provides system vendors with the core chunks to help them use Time Division Multiplexing
