YKL-40是一种在多种恶性肿瘤细胞中高度表达和分泌的蛋白,在细胞的增殖、分化、肿瘤周围组织血管发生等起重要作用,是肿瘤细胞生存和抗凋亡因子。它在多种恶性肿瘤患者血清中的水平显著高于良性肿瘤患者和健康人,且高水平YKL-40的恶性肿瘤患者病情恶化期和总体生存期短、预后差。因此YKL-40可作为恶性肿瘤诊断、患者病情和预后评价的标志物及未来抗肿瘤治疗的一个新靶点。
YKL-40 is a highly expressed and secreted protein in many kinds of malignant tumor cells. It plays an important role in cell proliferation, differentiation and angiogenesis around tumor and is a tumor cell survival and anti-apoptotic factor. It is significantly higher in patients with various malignancies than in benign tumors and healthy individuals, and patients with advanced YKL-40 have a worse prognosis and overall poor survival with poor prognosis. Therefore, YKL-40 can be used as a marker of malignant tumor diagnosis, patient’s condition and prognosis and a new target of anti-tumor therapy in the future.
