The increasing globalization of academics makes it impossible to reference or reconstruct any rhetorical tradition with a corresponding tradition developed in other cultural contexts. However, this “reference ” sounds simple and simple, but involves different discourse paradigms of heterogeneous, dynamic and adaptive features, as well as many epistemological episodes that inevitably arise when comparing these paradoxes , Ontology, teleology and methodological issues, so “reference” can only be carried out in the context of a prominent “complex system” feature. To a large extent, rhetorical cross-cultural and interdisciplinary research is still struggling to find a viable path due to the constraints imposed by this context, or the lack of awareness of these limitations. In July 2015, the author was invited to give a keynote speech at the 20th Biennial Conference of the International Rhetoric History Research Society. Taking the comparison of the reconstruction of the three Chinese and Western rhetorical keywords as an example, and in view of the above conception of dilemma Demonstrated a new path to “mutual clarification” as the goal of the new path. Due to the length of the introduction of this path to be divided into two parts. The first part is the Chinese version of the English version of the speech delivered by the General Assembly after a little more context. The second part is based on the author’s speech in the General Assembly, combined with his long-term practice of comparative rhetoric, observation, thinking, “Mutual elucidation” mode to make the initial theoretical elaboration. The following is the first part of the introduction of the conference speech translation of the Chinese.
