作为封建官僚系统中不可缺少的一环,胥吏集团在整个封建政治制度运行中发挥着重要的作用。本文结合一些资料及前人的观点,从三个方面,即清政府极力压低胥吏人身地位;胥吏制的弊端愈发突出;清政府制定措施规避胥吏危害来具体分析清代胥吏制度的一些形态,希望通过分析旧制度的缺陷与不足来为当今社会主义建设提供一些借鉴。
