党的十一届三中全会以来,“双百”方针得到了进一步的贯彻,学术界、艺术界解放思想,许多研究“禁区”被突破。傩戏、傩文化这一被人们长期遗忘的中国传统文化的发掘与研究,引起了中外学者的关注。特别是1987年秋,由贵州省民委和贵州民院举办的“贵州民族民间傩戏面具展览”在北京中国美术馆展出以后,各方面专家学者反映更为强烈,它启动着民俗、戏剧和宗教等多种人文科学研究者的思路,形成一股傩戏、傩文化研究热。《傩戏论文选》和《中国傩文化论文选》,就是这股热流催生的产儿。1988年10月,曲六乙先生去日本访问,在东京早稻田大学戏剧博物馆,给日本的一些学者、学生介绍中国傩戏之后,一位青年学者手持一本贵州民族出版社版的《傩戏论文选》,走上讲台请他在书上签名留念。他
