Not only is China and Japan geographically a strip of water, they are also more frequent neighbors in cultural exchanges since ancient times. This of course includes tea culture. Japanese tea culture originates from China and is inextricably linked with Chinese tea culture. From the cultural origins of this point, China and Japan should be friendly and harmonious “neighbors ”. However, so far Sino-Japanese relations have always been far and near, when the time is hot and cold, and there is once again a moment of critical tension. There are many reasons for this. However, whatever the reason, to change this situation, we have to untangle the knot of the peoples of the two countries. The ever-changing political situation in Japan makes it hard to grasp. To truly realize the friendly and peaceful coexistence of China and Japan, the key lies in the transformation of the people’s mentality. The Japanese tea ceremony with the ideological meaning of “respect, respect, clarity and silence” may give us a little inspiration.
