We studied the effects of exposure to arsenic on the growth and development of offspring in pregnant rats. The results showed that arsenic and brain arsenic contents in arsenic-exposed groups were increased and the structure of neurons in the cerebral cortex was abnormal. In the 0.75 mg / kg dose group, the neurobehavioral development was delayed, and the positive rate of α -acetyl Naphthyl Acetate (ANAE) in peripheral blood lymphocytes decreased. 4.50mg / kg dose group weaned rats weight gain slowly after weaning, blood cholinesterase activity decreased, serum hemolysin levels also decreased significantly. Indicating that arsenic can affect the growth and development of embryos and offspring through the mother.
