面对西方五花八门的教学实践和教学成果,郑艺更愿意通过自己的努力,夯实美术学院造型基础教学这一板块。在多年的教学实践当中,他一直保持着警醒:他认为,如果没有造型基础,没有对美的认识,缺乏对色彩调子的认识,直接去做装置等其他艺术,是没有技术深度的。因此,清华大学美术学院与其他美术学院的教学大纲均是以架上绘画为主的教学模式,这种体系一层一层构架起来,从核心到边陲,仿佛涟漪一般影响着中国的美术界。本期“名师授业”栏目我们邀请了郑艺老师的学生同时也是清华大学美术学院教师的莫芷对郑艺进行访谈,提出的问题一方面从学生的角度切入,探讨如何能从绘画技巧中出发,找到有意义的观察视角等学生最关注的问题;另一方面,在教学领域,也从同行的角度对造型艺术的基础问题进行研讨。希望他们的访谈能对钟情架上绘画以及从事其他艺术领域的读者有所帮助。
