The Institute for Global Change at the University of Queensland, Australia, is designed to harmonize with the natural environment so that office space operations can achieve zero energy consumption and carbon neutrality, contributing to environmental remediation and regeneration. The outer skin of the building is characterized by a double vertical curved moving curtain wall which can be adjusted with the change of the external environment, and adopts the ETFE membrane roof which has good heat insulation and heat preservation properties. The institute will be naturally ventilated most of the year, using renewable, pollution-free solar energy, while pioneering the use of structural polymer concrete in Australia.
