Authoritative figures in the machine tool industry in India believe that 1998 was the most terrifying year for many years and that it was a return to the economic crisis in the second half of the 1920s. Due to the financial austerity policies adopted to manage the Asian economic crisis and the economic sanctions imposed by countries on India’s nuclear tests in May 1998, these economic and political reasons have caused the slow development of Indian manufacturing.
