人扁桃腺淋巴细胞经两次贴壁除去单核-巨噬细胞后,再经连续两次尼龙毛柱处理,得到高度纯化的T和B细胞,在体外用细胞重组实验的方法,比较全面地观察了B淋巴细胞在体外T细胞丝裂原反应中的作用。结果证实,静止的B细胞和经A蛋白菌体试剂活化的B细胞均能非常显著地辅佐T细胞对ConA和PHA刺激的增殖反应,B细胞的这种作用不受HLA的约束。此外还观察了在PHA刺激T细胞产生IL-2反应中B细胞的作用,结果表明,加入B细胞,能明显辅佐T细胞产生IL-2。这些结果证明,B细胞在T细胞丝裂原反应中可作为辅佐细胞,起着与单核-巨噬细胞相似的辅佐作用。
