The Asian continent is considered to be a patchwork formed by successive collisions of some miniature landmass during the Paleozoic and Mesozoic periods. Based on the study of the geological features around the collision suture, we know the timing of the collision. For example, the collision between the Yangtze block (South China block) and the North Korea block (North China block) occurred in the late Triassic. This time has also been confirmed by the study of ancient AIDS. During the Triassic period, the orogeny in the Asian continent was called the “Indosinian orogeny” and the Jurassic to Cretaceous orogeny event was called the “Yanshan orogeny.” The geological map of China is based on the sequence system of this orogenic movement. The Indosinian orogeny can be interpreted as a collision structure in the micro-terraces of China, North Korea, Yangtze and Indo-China.
