The authors used two-dimensional echocardiography and computer light pen system quantitative analysis of normal and coronary heart disease in patients with left ventricular segmental endocardial activity and ventricular wall thickening rate. Methods: 21 (14 males and 7 females) patients with coronary heart disease diagnosed by coronary angiography were enrolled in this study. The control subjects were 9 (5 males and 4 females) normal subjects. Both groups were 18 to 74 years (mean, 55).
