We used the previous methods of analyzing the Phanerozoic and Late Precambrian, and considered some of the features of the original geological data during the Wende period. The division of the Precambrian in the Soviet Union was based on the plan developed at the Ufa Conference. That is, the beginning of Wende was 680 ± 20 million years, while its boundary with the Cambrian was 570 million years. Thus, Wende’s duration of about 110 million years. This is much smaller than the late Palaeozoic time division of the past but still greater than the extension of any age of the Phanerozoic
