Insisting on taking employment as guide is the direction of development of higher vocational education in China.With the increasing of the status and role of higher vocational educations in China’s higher education and the increasing competition in society,how to improve English listening and speaking skills of higher vocational students is very important to us.Because only by doing so,we can enhance student’s competitiveness in employment.Therefore,taking the actual situation into consideration,this paper puts forward targeted policy recommendations on how to improve English listening and speaking skills of higher vocational students.
