林可胜先生,1897年10月15日生于新加坡,祖籍福建省海澄县(今属福建龙海市)。林可胜先生8岁时就被送往英国爱丁堡上学,中学毕业后考进爱丁堡大学,专攻医科。1919年,留校担任生理学讲师。此后,又先后获得哲学博士学位、生理学博士学位和科学博士学位。为报效祖国,l924年10月,他进入协和医学院,担任生理系教授兼系主任,直到创办中国红十字会抗日救济总队。1931年“九一八事变”后,日军侵占东北,窥视华北挑战端。林可胜
Mr. Lin Ke Sheng, born in Singapore on October 15, 1897, is native of Hai Cheng County, Fujian Province (now Fujian Longhai City). Mr. Lin Kesheng was sent to Edinburgh, England at the age of 8 to go to school, after graduating from high school admitted to University of Edinburgh, specializing in medicine. In 1919, stayed as a physiology lecturer. Since then, he has received Ph.D., PhD in physiology and a doctorate in science. In order to serve the motherland, in l924 October, he entered the Union Medical College, served as professor of physiology and department director, until the founding of the Chinese Red Cross anti-Japanese relief corps.
