民国时期四川的中等教育获得较大发展,而中等教育学校的设置与分布是直观反映其发展的量表。纵观民国时期,四川中等教育学校发展存在着严重的不平衡性。从空间分布看,形成了动态变化的学校分布“发展区”、“一般区”和“贫乏区”。“发展区”主要分布于水陆交通便利之地,其趋势是“发展区”不断东扩、而“贫乏区”却不断向西部高原地区收缩。
In the period of Republic of China, Sichuan’s secondary education gained greater development, while the establishment and distribution of secondary education schools was a scale that intuitively reflected its development. Throughout the Republic of China, Sichuan secondary education schools there is a serious imbalance. From the perspective of spatial distribution, the dynamic distribution of schools has formed a “development zone”, “general area” and “poor area”. “Development Zone ” is mainly distributed in the land and water transport facilities, the trend is “development zone ” continues to eastward expansion, and “poor area ” but continue to shrink to the western plateau.
