【Objective】 To investigate the correlation between family environment and behavioral characteristics in boys with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) and tic disorder (TD). 【Methods】 The FES-CV and Achenbach Children’s Behavior Scale (CBCL) were used to study the relationship between attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) and tic disorder (CAT), ADHD group, TD group and normal control group N group) of 50 boys were evaluated. 【Results】 In FES-CV, the scores of emotion expression, knowledge, amusement and organization in CAT group were lower than those in N group, and the scores of contradiction and independence were higher in CAT group than those in N group (P <0.01) (P <0.05). CBCL CAT scores in all 10 subscales were higher than the control group (P <0.01), obsessive-compulsive scores higher than the ADHD group (P <0.05), except for schizophrenia and obsessive-compulsive factor scores other than TD Group (P <0.01). Correlation analysis showed that intimacy in FES-CV was associated with coercion, social withdrawal, hyperactivity, aggression, discipline, emotional expression and depression, hyperactivity, attack, knowledge and body-action, entertainment and aggression in CBCL Different degrees of negative correlation. 【Conclusion】 CAT boys have different degrees of family dysfunction, and their poor family environment has a higher correlation with children’s behavioral problems.
