作者通过对德州地区林业发展现状的调查研究,结合该区林业发展的实际需要,提出了德州平原农区的林业应坚持以生态效益为基础,全区林业覆盖率达到23.5％,防护林、经济林、用材林的比例大体保持在6:3:1,保持良好的生态效益的前提下,不断增加高效、优质树种比例,适当扩大经济树种面积,并以市场经济为导向,逐步使营林生产向林业产业化方向转变,努力捉高其经济效益的林业发展方向,为德州地区的林业建设提出了一条新路子。
