介绍了江西省新余市简家矿区主要含煤地层为三叠系上统安源组大禾山段(相当于紫家冲段),其D9煤层的下部煤层(简称D9煤层)具棱角状断口或阶梯状断口,似金属及强玻璃光泽,粒状结构,节理发育,燃烧时具有火焰及浓烟,宏观煤岩组分以亮煤为主,显微煤岩类型为微镜惰煤。煤质为中灰、中等挥发分、中硫、中磷、特低氯、中热值、高熔至难熔、强粘结性焦煤,可以作为配煤炼焦、火力发电和其他动力用煤或民用煤。
