理论分析并模拟仿真了半导体光放大器(SOA)参数对高速偏振复用-正交频分复用(PM-OFDM)全光波长变换系统的影响。SOA参数(包括增益饱和、光场限制因子、有源区内载流子浓度)均与系统波长转换效率有关。在达到SOA的增益饱和之前或在SOA的增益饱和附近,通过改变注入电流、载流子浓度、光场限制因子均可引起SOA增益系数的改变,从而影响系统的波长转换效率。通过改善SOA参数,实现了速率为40 Gbit/s的PMOFDM信号在全光波长变换后的无串扰直接接收。
The influence of the semiconductor optical amplifier (SOA) parameters on the high speed Polarization Multiplexing - Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (PM-OFDM) all-optical wavelength conversion system is theoretically analyzed and simulated. SOA parameters (including gain saturation, light field limiting factor, active region carrier concentration) are related to the system wavelength conversion efficiency. Before reaching the SOA gain saturation or near the SOA gain saturation, by changing the injection current, carrier concentration, light field limiting factor can cause SOA gain coefficient changes, thus affecting the system wavelength conversion efficiency. By improving the SOA parameters, the PMOFDM signal at a rate of 40 Gbit / s is directly received without crosstalk after all-optical wavelength conversion.
