有机溶剂溶解于胆甾相液晶中,导致胆甾相液晶散射光颜色改变。这一现象称之为胆甾相液的溶剂效应。W.E.Woodmansee,已对它用于金属表面裂纹无损检验进行过报导。在此基础上,我们研制了能适合工业生产使用的胆甾相液晶——有机渗透剂配方组,即 NBP-631配方组。我们对该配方组用于金属表面裂纹无损检验的可靠性、灵敏度、使用操作工艺进行了研究,并与荧光法、着色法进行了对比测试。在永久磁性材料产品的生产检验中得到令人满意的效果。
The organic solvent dissolves in the cholesteric liquid crystal, resulting in a change in the color of the light scattered by the cholesteric liquid crystal. This phenomenon is called the solvent effect of cholesteric liquid. W. E. Woodmansee, has reported on its use for non-destructive testing of metal surface cracks. On this basis, we have developed a cholesteric liquid crystal-organic penetrant formulation that is suitable for industrial production, that is, the NBP-631 formulation set. We have studied the reliability, sensitivity and operating process of this formula group for the non-destructive testing of metal surface cracks, and compared it with the fluorescence method and the coloring method. Satisfactory results in the production of permanent magnetic materials products inspection.
