Fourier transform infrared spectrophotometer, laser Raman spectrophotometer and laser Raman Microprobe have been used to detect composition of fluid inclusions in olivine phenocrysts of limburgite in Harkin area in eastern Inner-Mongolia,China. The IR and laser Raman spectra show strong absorption bands of molecular water at 3245~3565cm-1, and band of water vapor at 3627cm-1. The spectrum of hydroxyl (OH) was not observed. Analysis of inert gases isotope compositions suggests the water in the fiuid inclusions derived from mantle magma source instead of contdrinated crust. The discovery reveals a new site for mantle-derived water
