研究荷据时期的台湾历史,不可回避的一个问题就是对于荷据时期台湾社会性质的判定问题。对于这个问题学界有以下几种观点:第一,移民社会;第二,殖民地社会;第三,原始社会的转变社会;第四,多元社会。就我个人而言更侧重于第四种说法。荷据时期的台湾社会,应该是一种多元化社会。在这个多元化社会中最突出的是台湾社会性质的二重性。所谓“二重性”是指荷据时期的台湾社会一方面具有移民社会的性质;另一方面,又具有殖民地社会的性质。荷据时期的台湾社会是这两种
One of the unavoidable problems in studying the history of Taiwan in the period of the Dutch Occupation is the question of determining the social nature of Taiwan during the Dutch occupation. The academic circles on this issue have the following views: First, immigrant society; second, colonial society; third, the transformation of primitive society society; fourth, pluralistic society. Personally, I focus more on the fourth argument. In the period of the Dutch occupation, Taiwan society should be a pluralistic society.
