In this paper, the robust H∞ control problem for a class of uncertain nonlinear systems with matching parameters is discussed. Based on the nonlinear matrix inequality (NLMI) method, the sufficient and necessary conditions for the existence of globally robust H∞ dynamic compensators are obtained. This condition simplifies the robust robust H∞ control problem to a standard nonlinear H∞ problem via a supplementary nonlinear system
