汤亭亭是20世纪末进入美国主流的亚裔女作家,《女勇士》、《中国佬》和《孙行者》等三部小说奠定了其在当代亚裔作家群中的领先地位。本文拟以互文性理论为基础,以文本细读的方式结合后现代叙事理论及文化研究方法,探讨汤亭亭经由文本改写神话这一叙事策略及这一过程中所蕴含的文学追忆的阐释,指明作者着力在文本中建构华裔族群的异域家国神话的真正意义指向,以及文本内在的互文性对神话构成的解构意味。
As the Asian female writer who entered the mainstream of the United States at the end of the 20th century, Maxine Hong Kingston set the leading position in contemporary Asian writers as the Novels of “Woman Warrior,” “Chineseman,” and “Sunwalker.” Based on the intertextuality theory, this paper tries to explore the narrative strategy of Maxine Myth through the text and the interpretation of the literature recall contained in this process by combining the postmodernist narrative theory with the cultural research methods in the way of textual reading, It points out the true meaning of the author’s efforts to construct the exotic family myths of Chinese ethnic groups in the texts as well as the deconstruction of the myth constructed by the intertextuality of the texts.
