Abstract Objective To prospectively evaluate the safety and efficacy of multi-electrode system radiofrequency ablation in the treatment of lung cancer with the maximum diameter of 2 ~ 5 cm. Research on materials and methods was approved by Ethics Committee and all patients signed informed consent. Patients with malignant lung tumors without surgical treatment between September 2009 and July 2011 were included in this study. The mean maximum diameters of all tumors ranged from 2 cm to 5 cm and were treated with radiofrequency ablation using a multi-electrode automatic transfer system.
