The founding of the Xieshe Club and the Shanxi New Army are the result of the CPC’s adherence to the line of full-scale resistance and the combination of firm principle and flexible tactics. The establishment of the Anti-Japanese National United Front and the establishment of the Shanxi Anti-Japanese National Forces by the XJF and Shanxi New Army have made an important contribution to the opening up, consolidation and expansion of the anti-Japanese base areas.
