It is generally believed that diabetic polyneuropathy is due to long-term high blood sugar caused by metabolic disorders. However, some research data show that neuropathy is not closely related to the level of blood glucose and the severity of diabetes. The mechanism of diabetic polyneuropathy is not fully understood. Turkingtou and Weindling’s have observed that retinopathy, sensory neuropathy and kidney disease occur in type I diabetic patients and occur in patients with low insulin secretion reserves but not in patients with high secretion reserves. Therefore, they believe that high insulin secretion of type 1 diabetes patients can prevent the occurrence of these complications. The authors plan a study to determine whether type 1 diabetes insulin secretion reserve is not affecting the occurrence of multiple one of peripheral neuropathy
