简介李才根,四川简阳市人。1973年应征入伍到新疆,曾在新疆部队服役二十年。毕业于西安美术学院研究生班,获硕士学位。现任西安美术学院国画系教授,研究生导师,陕西省国画院特聘画家。名家点评作为一种文化的‘标高千’,千百年来,很少有人能够走出烟雨迷蒙的江南。于是,‘撑着油纸伞/独自彷徨在悠长、悠长/又寂寥的雨巷’的戴望舒便成了一种走不出‘江南’的文化象征。我们需要‘走出’的力量和诗意,于是,有了李才根的画。我以为,才根的努力主要体现于以下几个方面:第一,去古。李才根任着一口气,逞着一管笔,滔滔写来,自成气象;第二,去闲寂。闲与寂历来是文人画家所偏爱的境界。才根的画,不是没有闲寂,而是闲寂之中多了隐形的力量;第三,去恬淡;第四,重新强调书法
