新中国成立后,为了适应社会的发展,方便人们的交往,国家曾对一些过繁难写的汉字进行了简化,并公之于众。应该说,这就是新中国公布的法定文字。所以,只要是中国公民都应该自觉使用国家公布的文字。事实上,在一切国际交往中,包括在联合国大会上使用的中文都是这种简化汉字。然而,近几年,在一些地方,繁体汉字却有回潮之势,大到一些正规的出版物、电影、电视中,小到一些店名厂牌,使用繁体汉字的现象比比皆是。有的人连一些属于扫盲性质的简化汉字都说不全,却偏要
