在电子计算机高度发展的今天,人们在充分发挥电子计算机潜力的同时,也发现了它存在着的局限性。突破这种局限性的一条明显出路,便是发展光计算机。光学计算以它先天的并行性、宽带宽和高速度,正好可以弥补电学计算方法的不足。计算机的广泛应用是当前信息社会的主要标志之一,光计算机的发展和应用必将促进社会的进一步信息化。这篇综述文章共九节,分上、下两部分。上期已载上部分,本期续载下部分,以期能引起热心于光学计算和准备从事光计算机研究的人们的共鸣。
In today’s highly developed electronic computer, people are fully aware of the potential of electronic computers, but also found its limitations. An obvious way out of this limitation is to develop a light computer. Optical computing with its inherent parallelism, wide bandwidth and high speed, just to make up for the lack of electrical calculation methods. The widespread application of computers is one of the main symbols of the current information society. The development and application of optical computers will surely promote further information in society. This review article consists of nine sections, divided into two parts. The previous issue has been partially updated and the remainder of this issue continued, aiming to resonate with people who are enthusiastic about optical computing and preparing for computer science research.
