[人物小传]盖钧镒,中国工程院院士,大豆育种专家、数量遗传学家和农业教育家。长期从事植物遗传育种的研究和教学工作,尤其专长大豆种质资源、新品种选育、数量性状遗传的研究。以大豆遗传资源为重点研究方向,揭示了中国南方大豆地方品种资源主要经济性状的遗传潜势,将种质研究推进到基因组领域;提出我国大豆品种熟期组分类标准与方法和全国大豆品种生态区划方案;发现栽培大豆起源于南方野生群体的遗传学论据;提出数量性状泛主基因+多基因遗传理论,建立了数量性状遗传体系分离分析方法;主持国家大豆育种攻关项目,育成和参与育成20多个大豆新品种。创建了国家大豆改良中心;致力于学科建设与发展,培养出大批博士、硕士等优秀科技人才;对我国大豆科学、大豆生产发展以及农业高等教育做出突出贡献。
[Biography] Gai Junwan, Chinese Academy of Engineering, soybean breeding experts, quantitative geneticists and agricultural educators. Created the National Soybean Improvement Center, devoted itself to discipline construction and development, cultivated a large number of outstanding scientific and technological personnel such as doctors and masters, made outstanding contributions to the development of soybean science, soybean production and development and agricultural higher education in our country.
