Since China’s accession to the WTO in 2001, China’s foreign trade has become more and more open, with the rapid growth of the total amount of greenhouse gas emissions. Taking CO2 of greenhouse gas as an example, this paper analyzes the dynamic relationship between China’s foreign trade and CO 2 emissions by means of cointegration analysis based on the data of China’s trade and CO 2 emissions from 2000 to 2013. The results show that the trade opening and greenhouse gas emissions Showing the positive effect and maintaining long-term equilibrium and stability. This shows that the degree of opening up of China’s foreign trade is one of the reasons for the rapid changes in greenhouse gas emissions. The higher the degree of trade openness, the greater the CO 2 emissions. Based on the recommendations given to promote the opening up of China’s foreign trade and the healthy interaction of resources and the environment protection of the relevant recommendations.
