12年前,当证实铜不适合雕刻之后,瑞士Daetwyler公司便提出雕刻锌滚筒的技术。现在4Packaging公司停止了在铜滚筒上直接雕刻的试验,并引用Daetwyler直接激光雕刻锌滚筒技术。本文就为何改在金属锌上雕刻的问题,介绍一下Daetwyler公司技术总监所讲述的答案。当20世纪90年代初发展激光直接雕刻时,人们就发现铜不适合激光雕刻,因为它不会汽化,而只能熔化,所以残留在滚筒的着墨孔支撑线上,随后必须将其磨掉,避免损坏刮墨刀,从而不会影响印刷效果。
