随着新船造价不断下滑,中国再度启动自行打造VLCC船队的国家项目,造成近期又有一份大型新单浮出水面。这令业界担心,原本有望在2016年之后复苏的前景将受到威胁。据报道,大连船舶重工已从一家国内公司手中,赢得一份价值最高可达2.85亿美元的VLCC大单。上月底,招商轮船也曾在国内船厂签下4艘VLCC的订单,并藉此将全球VLCC手持订单数再度推高至100艘以上。截至当时,相关订单在现有船舶总数的占比达到15%以上。
As the cost of new ships continues to plunge, China once again started its own national project to build the VLCC fleet, resulting in the recent emergence of a large new single surfaced. This worries the industry that the prospect of a recovery that was originally expected to take place after 2016 will be threatened. It is reported that Dalian Shipbuilding Heavy Industries has won a large VLCC worth up to 285 million U.S. dollars from the hands of a domestic company. At the end of last month, China Merchants Shipping also signed four VLCC orders at domestic shipyards and pushed the global VLCC hand-held orders to above 100 again. As of that date, the relevant orders accounted for more than 15% of the total number of existing vessels.
